Using the film Women Talking as a case study, panelists will engage in a conversation about dialogue, deliberation, gender, power, media, imagination, healing, and freedom. The film is a depiction of an imagined, intimate, high-stakes deliberation amongst women deciding their collective response to violence perpetrated in their community. Panelists' areas of expertise span dialogue and deliberation studies, feminist and gender studies, media and film studies, and more.
