This memorial panel celebrates the life and scholarship of Dr. Misti Yang, who passed away in March 2023. Dr. Yang investigated the intersections of rhetoric, science, technology, and digitality, focused primarily on the cultural and communicative consequences of artificial intelligence. This panel brings together mentors, colleagues, friends, and kindred spirits to identify "Principles of a Yangian Rhetorical Theory" that can further stimulate research in this area.
