Sponsor: Human Communication and Technology Division
Fri, 11/18: 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM CST
Sheraton
Room: Gallier AB - 4th Floor
This discussion panel focuses on calls within the discipline to reflect on issues within research regarding inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA). Panelists will discuss their experiences in doing research and how they center IDEA in terms of methods and/or topics studied. Our hope is to facilitate opportunities for the audience to consider how their own research can integrate and engage with issues related to IDEA going forward. The panel will consist primarily of open Q&A with panelists and the audience, facilitated by the panel chair. We invite all NCA members to join us as we reflect on these important issues.
