On May 7, 2017, Texas Gov. Greg Abbot signed SB4, a piece of legislation banning sanctuary cities and mandating that local law enforcement and government officials aid immigration authorities, into law. As part of NCA's commitment to engaging with the local politics of our host city, this panel brings together NCA scholars and local activists and community leaders from a variety of backgrounds to discuss the implications of this law.
