Along with explicit instruction, high quality academic and behavioral feedback are foundational to the pyramid of effective teaching. Providing feedback is something every teacher does an incalculable number of times each day, month, and year, but how much thought goes in? In this session, the presenter will present and model principles of effective feedback for academics and behavior as appropriate for a range of content areas and grade levels, focusing on how effective feedback should manifest within a range of other HLPs and evidence-based practices.
