Abstract

Human behavior is increasingly difficult to define, understand, and predict, and the concept of "giftedness" is no exception. One of the ways educators can assess a student's functioning is by recognizing characteristics and behaviors that are common among students acknowledged as gifted.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will be able to:
1. Identify the behavioral characteristics common among gifted students.
2. Discuss the effect of a teacher's gender, years of experience, and scientific qualifications on their perception of behavioral characteristics.
3. Discuss the difference in behavioral characteristics depending on the student's gender, education level, and level of cooperation.
