Description

Large universities can pose large and unique challenges to completing a STARS (Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System) report and using the results to drive change. From siloed departments to decentralized data, to conflicting priorities from leadership, these challenges can make completing a STARS report and institutionalizing the results a slow and often cumbersome process.

This networking session will allow students, staff, and faculty that contribute to STARS reports at R1 universities to meet and discuss challenges, successes, and lessons learned in the process of completing their STARS report. This discussion will also allow individuals to learn innovative ideas for leveraging their institution's STARS report to improve campus-wide sustainability and get feedback from peers on a STARS reporting issue they are struggling with.
